Day 12-How you found out about blogger and why you have one

I have known about blogger for awhile now! I just never could figure out how to use it so I never went forward with it....I wanted to do a blog because I think they are more personal than facebook and myspace and all those other social sites. I also love it because it is a much better way for my family to stay connected with my family and I!!

Day 10-Songs you listen to when you're bored, happy, sad, mad, hyped

I am a Country Girl! So I love listening to anything that is Country related. I love to listen to the Black Eyed Peas! But mostly just Country!! :D

Day 9-Something you're proud of in the past few days

Hmm: Something I am proud of in the last few days! I am proud of my sister and all her accomplishments! I am proud to be an American and have the kind of Freedom we have. I am proud to be a Latter Day Saint: And have the knowledge I do about the church! I am proud of many many more things but these are just a few!! =D

Day 8-Short term goals for this month and when you'll accomplish them

My short term goals for this month would be...

1. Get the babies room started--which I plan to do next week.
2. Get our carpets cleaned--which is planned to happen this next week also.
3. Work on being a better and more understanding wife, sister, friend.
4. I want to start doing service for others. I plan to start that before the end of the month!!

Day 7-A picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you

I would have to say that these two women have impacted my life the most...They have taught me the important tools that I have had to use in my life...Anything from cooking to church. I am such a better person because of the things they have taught me. I will forever be grateful to both of them...I love them so much!!! :)

Day 6: Favorite Super Hero and Why!?

I would have to say Superman is my favorite Super Hero. Because his character is helping people and caring for people. Superman has always been one of my favorite Super Heros!!!

Day 5: A place I have been: Cancun, Mexico

In 2007 my family and I got the opportunity to go to Mexico...These are just a few of the pictures we took...One of my favorite places I have ever been!

Day 4: A habit I wish I could stop:

I bite my nails and wish that I did not do that. I tried for so long to stop...I think the longest I have gone without biting my nails was about 2 weeks and that was without fake nails!! :) I'll get it one day!!!

21 weeks:

This week has been kinda crazy and stressful! Craig has been gone all week and it has just been Manz and I at home. I also have decided I better get going on the babies room while I can still move. The thing is, I am having trouble finding bedding I like. There is so many cute things but I just can't decide....Craig really wants to do a race car theme...Which is kinda a cute idea!! However, I cannot find any bedding I like!! So frustrating....Why does it have to be so difficult..Or maybe I am just making it difficult. One of my friends suggested I make the bedding. Which sounds like a great idea, but I just don't know when I would have the time. I better get searching...Anyway here is a picture at 21 weeks!!! I feel like I am getting bigger by the day:

Day 2: Meaning of my Blog

Well my blog name is pretty simple and plain. I just used mine and Craig's name.....Maybe one day it will change...But until then I like the simple name!!! :)

Craig and Chelsea

I kinda forgot to add some info on Craig and I in my very first post so here it goes: How we met? How he proposed? How long we dated? Ya know all the good stuff....

Craig and I met well we met through my ex. Craig was actually his best-friend. And now before you think I dated my ex and went straight to Craig.......Think again!!! Craig will tell you that I stalked him and didn't stop until he asked me out on a date. I say we just started talking and here we are a year later.....MARRIED and PREGNANT!!!

Craig and I went on our first date on December 19, 2009. We had so much fun that we did not spend another day without each other. And I mean literally we spent every awakening moment together. He is amazing.

I was staying at my best friends house the night I went on a date: and I woke up the next morning and her dad told me I was going to marry him....I fought this for so long! And within a couple weeks Craig and I were talking about getting married.

Craig bought my ring and since I worked nights he brought me flowers and a huge balloon and proposed to me right at work with the help of my Best Friend (who also works with the same company)

Craig and I were engaged longer than we dated. But it was worth every second of it. We knew the first week of dating we were meant for each other. But I think we both fought it for awhile.

Little Ryker makes life a little uncomfortable...While I am sitting at work he is awake just kicking and punching...I think I am squishing him...Poor Kid.....

IT'S A BOY

Craig and I found out on December 20th that we are going to have a boy!! His name is going to be Ryker Eugene Burkhart. He will be here sometime in May and we can't wait to meet our little guy.

Our New Car

In November Craig and I decided we should probably get a new car since neither of our cars weren't very reliable. We decided to get rid of his Honda Accord and we Bought a Ford Edge. Since we will be adding a new addition to the family in May we thought it was the perfect fit for us. Not to big but not to small. It is very spacey and definitely going to help when there is a baby in the car...

California:

In October we went to Disneyland with the Jackman Clan....It was so much fun!!! I jump at every opportunity to spend time with my family especially since they live in Idaho and we don't ever get to see them. I have the best brothers and sisters anybody could ever ask for. We had a great time. I didn't get many pictures of our trip because my camera is so dang big and I didn't want to carry it around everywhere we went...But I did capture a few while we were at the beach.

We went to Seal Beach one day and it was Kite Day. People had some huge Kites and there were some great competitions going on while we were there...We also had a Seal come really close up to us. It was pretty awesome...It was extremely cold both days we went to the beach and Craig was pretty bummed that he couldn't go swimming....Maybe next time!

VEGAS:

This last year Craig and I went to Vegas a few times for a few different events:

The last time we went was for my sisters birthday. Jade turned 19! What a great time we had...My sister Paige came down with them and we just had a great time. There were a total of 8 of us in our group so there was never a dull moment...We always have fun when all of us sisters are together...It's a great time for us to make new memories!!!








The next time we went it was on our way to Idaho. We stopped in Vegas for a few days. We had a lot of fun. We got to spend some time with one of Craig's good friends Ben Ray. What a great guy. Craig and Him served their missions together and they are definitely a handful when they are together. But we have lots of fun.


The first time we went, it was just to go! It was so much fun and a much needed Vacation! We had the opportunity to go to the NASCAR races while we were there and that was definitely an experience of a lifetime...I can't wait to go this year...

Grandma Ruth

While we were in Idaho we had the chance to go see my Grandma Ruth who is in a nursing home. She was unable to be at our reception and wedding because of her condition. So I decided that I would go visit her. She was so happy and I know it completely made her day! I love my grandma Ruth so much and wish she could be active in our lives but we understand that sometimes things happen and unfortunately there is nothing we can do....But visit her and make sure she feels loved!! I LOVE YOU GRANDMA RUTH!!!

Wedding Bliss:

Craig and I were married June 5th 2010.

All you married friends and family know all the stress that goes along with getting married! Everything from planning, parties, and then the actual wedding. It can be just Bliss...For us I think the only thing that turned out perfect was that all of our family and friends were there to celebrate and most importantly we both showed up.

But everything that could go wrong............Went wrong. We had a DJ that did nothing we asked him to do. A cake that practically fell off the table (Which was not the cake designers fault) but actually the people in the kitchens. We now laugh about all the things that went wrong and really if things didn't go wrong we would have worried more...We definitely had a CHELSEA AND CRAIG wedding!!!

We had the opportunity to have two receptions one in AZ that followed the wedding and then we got to go to Idaho and have another one. It was fantastic...Our Idaho reception was amazing: We had it at my moms house. It was amazing...Here are some pictures from those days!!!
