With Grandma Burkhart...

Ryker, Silas and I. Funny story if you look at the beginning pictures, Silas would not even touch Ryker... Somehow he warmed up and would not let anybody touch him, not even his mom... I didn't get a picture of her holding him because my camera died... :(

Our Newest Addition:

As most of you know our newest addition finally decided to come. I would have to say Labor and delivery were pretty SIMPLE. I went into labor after my water broke at 2300 hours, 3 hours later I asked for my epidural and Almost 5 hours later it was time to push. Thank heavens for epidurals, because I did not feel a thing. 7 minutes and only 9 pushes later Ryker Eugene Burkhart was born. He was 6 lbs 13 in and the most precious but stubborn baby I have ever met in my life. Little Ryker definitely was not a breastfeeding baby. In fact he hated it. Finally I had to ask for a bottle to supplement. After a day at the hospital we had a little mis-communication with the Dr. and they thought we only wanted to breastfeed our little Ryker. So Ryker unfortunately lost 10oz in one day, which is a huge deal. After staying in the hospital for another night, Ryker finally started drinking formula and he liked it alright, well until he started throwing up everything he ate...Poor little man... It was extremely frustrating. We finally were released from the hospital and less than 24 hours later we were on the road to Idaho. Poor Ryker has already been threw 3 different states... But as far as we all know he loved it. And besides he won't even remember how cruel it was to sit in a carseat for 12+ hours... We love you Ryk.

While we were in Idaho we saw so many people and so many people came to see him.. It was amazing. We figured out that Ryker has 4 Great-Great Grandma's still alive... (isn't that crazy) I couldn't believe it.

Ryker has already been to his first softball games, ( we watched Auntie Paige play), First Graduation (Congrats Uncle Dillon) Had his first Family photos. First real bath (with grandma) & I watched my first Nascar race with my daddy...

Needless to say Ryker is extremely loved by so many people...

Here are some pictures of all the people that were there when I came into this world...

Daddy was with Mommy at the hospital:

Our Troops:

So the last week or so I have been thinking so much about our Military Personal... And how many people I know that are currently serving our country In Iraq or Afghanistan or anywhere else in the country and it truly makes me realize how blessed I am. Because of them I have freedom. I don't think I do enough for these brave soldiers and really think I need to find something I can do to help them as they are away from their families... Like send packages or something special...

I watch Army Wives every Sunday and it really makes me think, that this really happens. This show might be a TV series but it's got to be true life stories. I am so grateful to be an AMERICAN and so happy that I have the Freedom I have because of every single one of those soldiers who sacrifice everything for each and every person in America!!!

Almost OVER:

Here is a recent picture of the pregnant me!! I guess I should probably update you all: Well I went to the Dr. on Monday and I have dilated to a 1...Ryker is head down and ready to go...My Dr. does not think I will go 4 more weeks. So hopefully we will get to meet our little man really soon!! I am starting to get nervous! All the little things are starting to go through my mind: hopefully it's normal to worry if I'm going to be a good mom or not...What if I don't hear him crying!? What if I don't change his diaper right!? Or what if he doesn't get fed enough.!? Hopefully these are just things that everyone goes through and it will pass with time!! I am excited to be able to have a family! I love Craig so much and am so excited for us to be parents for the very first time!! I can't wait and I think he is getting more and more excited everyday!! :) I have so much love for my little man and he's not even here yet... I'm so ready so you can come anytime my little Ryker!!! Mommy and Daddy can't wait to meet you!!! :)

Grillin:

We walked into Home Depot a couple weekends ago and their grills were on sale! Craig has been wanting one so badly, and since they were on sale for an amazing price (50% off) I let him get one... We love it and use it every weekend he is home... I need to start using it during the week, but I haven't gotten there yet!! Here are some pictures!:

It's Spring Time:

A few weeks ago Craig and I decided it was time to plant some new flowers in the front yard. We love the new Flowers...We got some daisies, Roses, and some other ones that honestly I have no idea what they are...But we are very proud of our front yard!! :) Here are some pictures!! Manzy likes to help...
